About CISV Belgium

About CISV

CISV is a volunteer-based organisation to promote peace, justice and equality. We believe that peace is possible through building friendship and mutual understanding at a young age. We allow the next generation to create a more peaceful world by organising various programmes. The first cultural exchange camp took place in the US in 1951, the year that CISV also set foot in Belgium.

CISV Belgium organises six programmes. We’re proud to be hosting a Village in 2024.

Peace Programmes

for children age 11 – 17

CISV organises exciting, “learning-by-doing” Peace Programmes.
There are four camp-based programmes and two leadership programmes.
